The Swift Cooper Race Team

Swift Formula Ford Team
The Swift Cooper Team is committed to continual research and development of their cars at their factory based at Castle Combe, in Wiltshire.
The objective for 2009 was to bring the Swift name back into the limelight after a long time away from where it should be. The SC09 ran in the Castle Combe FF1600 Championship in the hands of Steven Jensen in preparation for the 2010 campaign. Steven finished 2nd in his class and 5th overall.
Swift last developed a Duratec car for the 2007 season, which was tested by 2007 British Formula Ford Champion Callum Macleod.
The aim for 2010 is to return with a full works team, they are working hard to tune the setup and are due to begin wind tunnel testing soon,
The Team runs every season in their local FF Championship with drivers such as Alan Slater, Steven Jensen, Nathan Ward, Jim Hamilton and Rob Hall.
The Team specialises in race car preparation ensuring their drivers receive the best service possible to get them the results.
