Swift racing cars gave their development duratec formula ford car another outing at Brands Hatch Indy circuit last week.

After a successful test in the wet at Silverstone, Brands was dry but very cold. Callum Mcleod was again on driving duty, although he had not been to Brands for over twelve months, he quickly got in the groove posting laps consistently in the low 48's with a best time of 48.28 seconds on old tyres.

Team principle Alan Cooper was delighted with the times but rued the fact that the team did not take any new tyres, "Had we put on new tyres I am sure we would have been right on lap record pace", he said.

No more tests are planned as the team sets about constructing the new chassis for next year. "We do not have any drivers signed as yet although the recent test pace has attracted a lot of interest" said Team Manager Chris Smith, we will see who is in the frame after Christmas.
